Do you take cases outside of Florida?

The firm is based in Florida and admitted to practice in Florida. We accept federal Medicare and ERISA matters from outside the state on a case-by-case basis and we routinely coordinate with local counsel in other jurisdictions when the work crosses state lines.

How do you bill for matters?

It depends on the matter. General counsel engagements run on monthly retainers. Audit defense and claim appeals are typically hourly with capped scopes. Transactions are most often handled on a fixed-fee basis tied to closing milestones. We discuss billing structure on the initial call before the engagement is signed.

Is the initial consultation free?

Yes. The first thirty-minute conversation is free and is intended for both sides to determine whether the firm is the right fit for the matter. We will tell you candidly if we are not, and where to look if so.

Can you handle a matter on a tight regulatory deadline?

Often, yes, but please call rather than fill out the form. Audit response windows and board investigation deadlines run on calendar days that do not pause for intake forms.
